GE has negotiated a special conference rate at the Clarion Hotel Stockholm and is holding a block booking of rooms. To make your hotel reservations through us, please complete the hotel section when registering for the conference.

Single Occupancy SEK 1700 (including breakfast and VAT)
Double Occupancy SEK 2000 (including breakfast and VAT)

Deadline for Reservations
Please make your reservations by the 23rd March 2005. Room availability and conference rates cannot be guaranteed past these dates.

Hotel Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of reservations may be cancelled without penalty by 23rd March 2005. We regret that cancellations made after 23rd March 3005 cannot be refunded.

Check In: The time of arrival at the hotel is from 14:00
Check Out: Departure time is 12.00

In case of earlier or later arrivals and departures, luggage may be put in storage at the hotel.

Conference Dinner

This year’s conference dinner will be held at the Vasa Museum, Scandinavia's most visited museum.

The warship Vasa is the only remaining, intact 17th century ship in the world. The lower rig has been rebuilt, complete with masts, stays and shrouds.

General Information

Transportation
To / From Arlanda airport, Stockholm: The Clarion hotel is 45 km from Arlanda airport and taxis are available outside the arrivals area. The approximate price for a taxi is SEK 450.

There is also a direct train from Arlanda airport to Stockholm city centre. The cost of a return ticket is SEK 340. Further information can be found at: www.arlandaexpress.com

Conference Attire
Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference events. The Monday evening event will be casual.

Weather
The climate in Stockholm is extremely varied and every season has its own particular charm. At the beginning of April, spring begins to make a long-awaited appearance and temperatures in Stockholm will be between +5 and 15C (41 to 59F).

Guests
You are welcome to bring your families to Stockholm to enjoy the city. However, children (under 21) will not be permitted to attend the conference activities or meals. You may purchase a guest ticket for the conference dinner when registering for the conference.
